My Idea portal is an internal web-based portal developed for corporate employees, to provide them with the opportunity to share their ideas and suggestions, in order to improve the overall company system.
My Idea portal built based on workflow engine, which provides corporate employees the ability to share their ideas via filling a request form contains suggestion area, name of service and the suggestion.
The portal allows the corporate officers to view the new and the existing list of ideas, with their status; invalid, in progress, unaccepted-invalid with the corporate strategy, etc., and view tasks list.
The portal has notification engine that shows an alert to the corporate officers when new idea request arrives to view, check it, update its status and send the response back to the employee.
The portal offers comprehensive reports helps the corporate officers in tracking and checking the ideas by their status or requester. It also offers a dashboard, which contains pie and bar charts that shows information for overall status and suggestions status.

Sharing Ideas
This feature provides the users to write and fill their idea via a request form, and send the form back to the involved parties to check the idea if it is valid or not.
Workflow Engine
The system has a workflow engine, when a new idea request send from the employee it arrives to the corporate officer to check the idea and change it status, then send the response back to the employee.
System Administration
This module provides authorized people the ability to view ideas list and change their status, view tasks lists, reports, and set and manage system settings.
Dashboards
The system shows dashboard with three pie charts for the staff band, suggestion by segment and overall status, it also shows a bar chart for the suggestions status.
Reports: shows the Terminals information
- Ideas Report by Status:- This report shows a detailed information for the ideas and their status.
- Ideas Report by Requester: This report shows a detailed information for the ideas and their requesters.
